Cyber-insurers face far greater exposure to catastrophic risks than other insurers. Because our solution provides the insurers with device level risks, they can view specific risk exposures across their entire portfolio as these risks evolve; harnessing this ‘inside-out’ view of data throughout the policy lifecycle. We use aggregated data to automatically populate cyber-insurance application/renewal forms – ensuring that the insurer has the right data to write the right policy at the right price. Premiums are automatically generated and sent to the policyholder together with recommendations to reduce premiums. Once a policy is in place, cyber scores are constantly
updated, and alerts sent through the policyholder. In the event of a loss, the insurer has access to the audit trial leading to the claim and visibility to the actual loss. Legitimate claims can pay promptly, improving customer loyalty. Questionable claims can be investigated on the platform without requiring expensive forensic teams. Other solutions apply AI on external data sets and are not usage-based. Their black box approach inhibits cyber-insurers from properly pricing risk.
